Annual reenactment down Parley street and the Trail of Hope
of the Pioneer Saints as they were driven out of Nauvoo.

Each year in late March or early April the community gathers to watch a one-acre
section covered in prairie grass burn to the ground. Hot dogs and chips are
provided by the LDS missionaries.
